Waler & Strut are structural members that receive lateral force and transfer load from sheet piles. Waler will use H - Beam along the length sheet pile to transfer the force. Strut will use H - Beam to support longitudinally and transversely, divided into layers according to the depth. Can be installed and removed using crawler crane or mobile crane.

The objective of this in general are to effect close contacts between various earthretaining member, increase rigidity of sheeting and support as a whole, prevent displacements of earth retaining walls, increase bearing capacity of the suppoting structure against earth pressure, thereby preventing adverse effects which accompany excavation works, such as settlement of ground and building in the surrounding area.
